    Get vaccinated and Get ready to Go

    When you get your COVID-19 vaccination, you’re not just protecting yourself and the community, you’re also supporting hundreds of thousands of Australians who work in the tourism industry. We all want to get back to travelling in our incredible backyard, so the sooner you get the shot, the sooner we can all experience an epic Australian holiday.

    For information on the COVID-19 vaccine consult your GP or visit australia.gov.au

    We’re here to help

    On behalf of our personal travel managers across Australia, we would like to thank each and every one of our customers you for your continued support since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

    TravelManagers continues to monitor all updates and changes daily and assessing the possible impacts to our customers’ travel. We are pleased to have been able to bring our clients and their loved ones home during border closures. Since it began, our personal travel managers have each spent thousands of hours sourcing refunds from suppliers across the globe on behalf of our clients. To date, Australian travel advisors have successfully repatriated billions of dollars in refunds due from overseas. This work continues, for TravelManagers Australia and across the whole industry.

    Our national partnership office at TravelManagers Australia continues to keep our network updated on the latest advices and are liaising with our partner suppliers to find the best solution for our customers, including incentives, to change your plans as opposed to cancelling them.

    We’re encouraged by the arrival of Australia’s first shipment of vaccines. To us, this represents a practical step towards our world opening safely, and of course relief for those of us with a dormant travel bug.

    As a network, we pride ourselves on personal service and, particularly during these difficult times, are striving to maintain this level of service and support by finding a solution that suits each of you. This includes:

    • Reviewing your travel plans and discussing options and alternatives with you;
    • Updating you with the latest information provided by our partner suppliers and liaising with them on your behalf, and;
    • In the event you have purchased travel insurance through your personal travel manager they will review the product disclosure statement (PDS) with you. As each individual travel insurance policy will vary in circumstance as well as the terms and conditions around changes and cancellations, your personal travel manager may need to refer you to liaise directly with your travel insurance provider.

    We look forward to inspiring you to travel closer to home for the time being, and dream about those long-awaited international adventures again.
