Your holiday begins the moment you step on board a Hawaiian Airlines flight, where you experience the warm hospitality, sights, sounds and flavours of Hawai‘i long before touching down in the Islands.

The Hawaiian Airlines network extends far with non-stop flights operating frequently between Hawai‘i and 15 US gateway cities. Flying from Sydney or Auckland via Honolulu to the US mainland offers great opportunities for a stopover in Hawai‘i enroute. All flights from Sydney and Auckland are operated by wide-bodied Airbus A330 aircraft, with 192 Main Cabin, 68 Extra Comfort and 18 Lie Flat Business Class seats.

The Extra Comfort product is especially popular with Aussie and Kiwi travellers, offering extra touches to make the travel experience even more comfortable. On routes from Australia and New Zealand to Honolulu, Extra Comfort guests enjoy more legroom, priority boarding, a personal electrical power outlet and special amenities kit.

Hawaiian Airlines was the first major US carrier to debut Starlink on board, giving passengers free of charge, easy access to high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the cabin on flights between Sydney and Auckland to Hawai‘i, the continental US and other international destinations. Connect to Wi-Fi as soon as you step on board, without registration pages or payment portals and you can start streaming content straight away, play games live with friends on the ground, catch up on emails, book last-minute trip activities or even share photos of your flight on social media!

Passengers travelling from Australia and New Zealand to Hawai‘i in Main Cabin and Extra Comfort seating are entitled to one piece of checked baggage up to 23kg a piece, plus one carry-on bag weighing up to 11.5kg. A second bag up to 23kg incurs a fee of AUD$150. Hawaiʻi is synonymous with surfing and many ocean and land-based activities that draw visitors from around the world, so Hawaiian Airlines also accepts your favourite surfboard or bicycle, in addition to other sports equipment including golf clubs, as standard checked baggage on every flight on the airline’s network.
