Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo
The annual Brands and Products Expo is the largest exhibition held in Hong Kong. Starting in December and running through to January, the exhibition brings together the largest brands across food, lifestyle and entertainment industries. The exhibition is also a shopper’s paradise with heavily discounted prices across all product sectors – a great opportunity to get some cheap presents for the friends and family back home.

    Food Expo
Hong Kong has a reputation for being the culinary capital of Asia and after spending time at the Hong Kong Food Expo it really is no surprise why. Every August the city of Hong Kong hosts the Food Expo at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, attracting foodies from all over the globe. On show are live cooking demonstrations by Michelin Star chefs and gourmet delicacies from the East and West to suit everyone’s taste buds. From the most exclusive caviar in the world to frozen beer, this expo will give visitors an in depth insight into the Hong Kong dining scene.

    Hong Kong Flower Show
The image of 350,000 exotic flowers from 18 different countries has many punters daydreaming of greener pastures with the Hong Kong Flower Show. Held in Victoria Park over 10 days in March, 200 global floristry and landscaping organisations come together with flower displays that make up differing landscapes and floral artwork. The exhibition’s theme for 2013 was “Kaleidoscope of Spring”, and cemented the expo as a worldwide success in the industry. The show also features music and dance performances, fashion shows, and cooking demonstrations.

Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair
This may sound like child’s play but this industry event is serious business. With 1,900 exhibitors it is the largest toy industry expo in Asia and the second largest in the world. The exhibition specialises in games, sport, electronics, branded toys and video games. Held in January each year it has a large global profile and is seen as the best way to predict what will be the big trends for the coming year. The exhibition has recently unveiled a new addition called ‘Kidalt’. The new ‘Kidalt’ world zone for big kids has a strong focus on science and enhancing the mind. Prepare to immerse yourself in innovation, as new technology such as the iPad meets traditional board games.
